There are many benefits of practicing yoga in pregnancy. Yoga can help you stay healthy and help with stress reduction and help during the labor and delivery process. Other benefits of yoga include many biological and psychological responses. Individuals that practice yoga have less anxiety, less stress and helps with back pain, lowers heart rate and even helps with some other medical conditions asthma.

Everyone’s body is different, and yoga postures should be modified based on individual abilities. There are many prenatal yoga classes, but you need to carefully select an instructor who is experienced with prenatal yoga and is attentive to your needs. Many instructors undergo extensive training and have specific certifications you may want to ask about your instructor certification before starting prenatal yoga.
